About The Client:
This established business provides industry-leading hydrographic, geophysical, oceanographic, and ROV survey services to sectors including offshore renewable energy, utilities, engineering, oil & gas, and defence.
Your Role:
As an ROV Pilot/Technician, you’ll:
Safely operate ROVs and assist with their maintenance and repair.
Perform detailed underwater surveys, including inspecting cables, pipelines, and marine structures, and conducting 3D photogrammetry and seabed mapping.
Collaborate with survey teams, vessel crews, and workshop staff to deliver accurate, high-quality results.
Maintain survey data integrity through robust QA processes and produce comprehensive reports.Key Attributes:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
A degree or HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining ROV systems such as SeaEye, Outland, and BlueROV, and integrating USBL, DVL, sonar systems, HD cameras, and other advanced sensors.
Strong communication, teamwork, and technical problem-solving skills.
UK work eligibility (unfortunately sponsorship is not available), a full driver’s licence, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and video editing software).Whats On Offer:
