About the role:
Are you looking for an exciting leadership opportunity in the field of medical education? The Faculty of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as a principal teaching fellow in educational partnerships.
Forming an integral part of the Faculty of Medicine’s Education Office, the Educational Partnerships team is responsible for the delivery of the faculty’s global educational partnership activities. Imperial College Faculty of Medicine has established many collaborations internationally and nationally. The largest of these are LKCMedicine, a collaboration with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine that is run in collaboration with the University of Cumbria. As a member of the educational partnerships team, you will primarily be involved in the development of similar prospective partnerships.
What you would be doing:
For new partnerships, the Principal Clinical Teaching Fellow will lead curriculum development and work across Academic, Operational and Project Management workstreams to ensure that activities and inputs are consistent and aligned to broader project objectives. The postholder will be an integral part of the Academic team, contributing to curriculum development, placements planning, the creation of teaching materials and establishment of assessment and monitoring processes. The post holder will work with the Administration & Operations team to inform a robust and appropriate supporting infrastructure and will work as part of the overall team, contributing to the smooth delivery of the project as a whole.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced clinical educators looking to broaden their experience through engagement with complex educational projects. While the role is primarily education-focused, opportunities will be provided to engage and develop broader business, project management and planning skills from the outset.
