Position at WorldFirst
What you’ll do:
1. Self-generate new opportunities through outreach.
2. Use your existing network and assigned portfolio of merchants to generate referrals for new business opportunities.
3. Attend relevant industry events to keep informed of the latest trends and forge new connections within the target segments.
4. Maintain a specific number of accounts, build strong relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across the portfolio.
5. Drive greater uptake of WorldFirst’s suite of products within the account portfolio.
6. Present relevant solutions and provide detailed education to merchants regarding products and processes.
7. Work closely with related teams to resolve merchants’ issues.
8. Share insights and customer feedback to the wider team ensuring the customers’ voice is heard across the business.
9. Have a systematised approach to keeping in regular contact with merchants and maintain business relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience with selling their product to e-commerce brands within the marketplace merchant eco-systems.
2. A motivated individual with a proven track record of self-generating leads selling to Business Owners and/or the C-Suite.
3. Solutions orientated approach to building and maintaining customer relationships.
4. Effectively communicate via telephone, email and face to face by utilising active listening skills and good presentations.
5. Strong attention to detail, be process driven with outreach and engagement cadences.
6. Ability to handle tough conversations, overcome objections and deal with customer dissatisfaction.
7. Skilled in time management, task management and problem solving.
8. A collaborator that works with related functions to best support the client’s needs.
9. Someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and adapt to new product knowledge quickly.
10. International payment industry experience would be an advantage.
