Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Ledger: Raise invoices and issue customer statements
* Purchase Ledger: File and post invoices, process receipts, and reconcile supplier accounts
* Banking: Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with cashflow forecasting
* Monthly Accounts: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* VAT Returns: Provide support with VAT returns processing
* Payroll: Help with payroll processing and related tasks
* Bookkeeping: Perform general bookkeeping tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an accountancy-based role is essential
* Software Skills: Experience using accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is highly desired
* Qualifications: A degree is not necessary—what matters most is your experience and enthusiasm for finance
* Attention to Detail: You're meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
* Team Player: You’ll be working closely with the Finance Manager, so strong communication and collaboration skills are a must
