Hello!
We are delighted you are considering coming to work with us at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW).

Job overview
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an Art Psychotherapist to work across our Inpatient Rehabilitation Adult Mental Health wards at St George's Park in Morpeth, Northumberland.
You will be joining the Psychological Services Inpatient team, which consists of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Psychological Therapists, Art Psychotherapists, and Assistant Psychologists. We are a friendly, inclusive, and diverse group of practitioners who bring a range of interests, experience, and skills to the work we do.
The post holder will also be part of the Arts Therapies Trust wide Team and will receive regular clinical supervision from a Senior Art Psychotherapist.
Main duties of the job
The post will be based across two of our rehabilitation units, which are part of the complex psychosis pathway. One of our wards is male-only, and the other is a mixed ward. The wards have had art psychotherapy input over the past five years, and this has become an established and valued part of our provision.
A working day is often varied but may include attendance at multidisciplinary team meetings, individual art therapy sessions, and delivery of an art therapy group. There may also be delivery of team reflective practice and supervision of Trainee Art Psychotherapists, as well as involvement in service-related projects.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will be required to provide Art Therapy, including specialist assessments, group and individual Art Therapy.
The post holder will also work collaboratively with professional colleagues, offering advice and consultation. An ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams is an essential aspect of this post.
The post holder will contribute to clinical discussions and decision-making alongside the wider multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will provide clinical supervision and clinical consultation/advice in accordance with service needs, which may include holding reflective practice spaces for clinical teams.
