You will provide support with day-to-day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. Responsibilities:
1. Supporting with personal hygiene routines, continence care, dressing, eating, and monitoring with written reporting throughout the night.
2. Perform general housekeeping tasks that are in line with Infection prevention control measures, which include laundry, mopping floors, ensuring clean and tidy bathrooms, and kitchen areas.
The Cherries is located in Folkestone, in Kent. It offers residential support for six autistic males and females. We are located on a quiet street, near the town centre.

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI, or Disclosure Scotland, and the cost of this will be covered by Priory.
