Broadway First School has a rare opportunity to add a Teaching Assistant to our committed Early Years team. We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant with a passion for developing and inspiring children to achieve their very best. You will ideally hold an Early Years accredited qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 supported by Maths and English qualifications at GCSE or equivalent level. Further training alongside the job may be considered for outstanding candidates via the Apprenticeship Scheme. The successful candidate will also support lunchtime supervision in Early Year to maintain appropriate adult ratios.
The role is a temporary role for 12 months initially although there is a strong possibility this will be extended as we expand our Early Years provision. The post will commence in January 2025. We strongly welcome school visits so that you can see our wonderful school for yourself.
The school received a glowing Ofsted report last year, recognising the ‘high-quality and wide-ranging curriculum’ at our school as well as the nurturing environment we have created.
We can offer you:
* Children that want to be challenged and enthused
* A nurturing and happy school environment
* A close knit and supportive staff group who genuinely want the best for our children
* A school that believes in growing the skills and knowledge of staff
* The opportunity to make a real difference to our school and its children
* A wider network of support through our close ties within our school cluster
We would love you to join us if you…
* Believe children should feel safe, valued and listened to at school
* Have experience in schools, especially in Early Years
* A clear understanding of how children learn and plan lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Have the motivation to make learning exciting across the whole curriculum
* Are passionate and committed to delivering the highest of standards
* Are a great team player willing to go the extra mile
* Are committed to further improving your own practice
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
