Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs and abilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and social development Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or equivalent Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working with secondary school students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Excellent organisation and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field Working Conditions: Work in a school setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
