We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager - South to join us. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
The Role
1. To secure converted orders by means of specifications and lead conversion for all products within the Wavin Above Ground product portfolio.
2. To effectively manage all End User sub contract relationships driving maximum opportunity for the use of Wavin products.
3. At all times both Wavin and its associated product brands must be actively promoted and well represented across the construction and building products markets in line with the core strategy of the business.
Main Responsibilities
Achieving monthly and quarterly Commercial Objectives and KPIs, which will be discussed and clearly outlined during the continuous performance review process.
Performance and actions will be driven specifically linked to the core measures of the role, including
but not limited to;
4. Value of orders converted
5. Conversion rate of opportunity to order
6. Development of Project Pipeline
7. Call ratio and frequency by customer type
8. CDP seminars
9. BIM customer penetration and adoption
10. Mandatory use of Company CRM system
Other responsibilities include;
11. Achieving monthly and quarterly Commercial Objectives and KPIs
12. Engaging with Specifiers to secure written confirmation of Wavin products on Commercial and Residential opportunities
13. Managing and developing End User relationships
14. Actively participating in business planning in order to grow and develop sales
15. Ensuring that all customer requests are responded to professionally and efficiently
16. Positively promoting the business, its products and its employees to ensure the business is protected at all times
17. Contributing to the development of all systems and procedures to continuously improve effectiveness
18. Logging detailed activities and projects within the CRM system
19. Engaging fully with all health and safety programmes
20. Ensuring all management information – KPIs, Monthly Reports are submitted on time, in full
21. Delivering CPD and product training to all relevant parties, e.g. Specifiers
22. Contributing successfully to the launch of all new product ranges

24. Proven track record of successful specification sales including management of a Project Pipeline
25. Can Demonstrate drive and ambition. Sets challenging goals and seeks to achieve them
26. Communicates confidentently across a wide range of mediums
27. Proactive use of CRM system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
28. Is entrepreneurial in identifying new business opportunities
29. Experienced in successful negotiation, persuasion and influencing
