Job summary The Estates and Facilities Department are seeking a new Head of Operations (Estates & Facilities) to lead our operational teams as we embark on a period on excitement and change in our Trust Our PFI ends in 2028 and work is underway shape our future and the Head of Operations (Estates & Facilities) will be a significant contributor on this journey.This is a great opportunity for a forward thinking leader who wants to make an impact in a Mental Health Trust during this period of change.Working closely with the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities and the Estates & Facilities Senior Management team, the Head of Operations will contribute to ensuring that the corporate objectives of the Trusts are achieved with specific focus on the provision of the Estates & Facilities management services. The Head of Operations will be responsible for the management of the E&F services across the whole estate including PFI contracts and NHS Property Services contract, providing assurance on compliance, financial oversight, management of cost improvement programme and regular performance reporting. The Head of Operations will be responsible for the management of the E&F services across the whole estate including PFI contracts and NHS Property Services contract, with a focus on owned & leased Estate providing assurance on compliance, financial oversight, management of cost improvement programme and regular performance reporting. The role will be part of the Estates & Facilities Senior Management team that will lead and provide direction for the team, and work across the organisation to improve the care of our service users and our operational services. The role incorporates the operational areas including Estates & Infrastructure Maintenance, Ground's maintenance, Capital Project Management, Cleaning, Catering, Contractor Management & Planning, External Cleaning, Window Cleaning, and Pest Control.
