Equity Energies is looking for someone who possesses utilities industry knowledge, is analytical, proactive and has good attention to detail to manage our utility clients within the newly formed Bureau Services department. You should have experience and understand account billing procedures.
As a Bureau Account Analyst, you will work as a team and individually be responsible for a portfolio of clients to manage. Ideally, the candidate will possess experience in invoicing, validating and customer service within an established bureau service environment.
To thrive in this role, you should enjoy working in a high-pressure environment. You will need to follow strict procedures in your work and manage workloads to meet tight deadlines. You must be familiar with a range of IT and utilities related data packages, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word (experience of using SystemsLink would be an advantage). You may need to assist with some administration duties like (but not limited to) arranging meetings, taking minutes, preparing documents, managing mailboxes, etc.
You should be comfortable in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders. You must be experienced in proactively engaging and communicating with anyone and demonstrate a high ability to attention to detail.
Areas of Responsibilities:
1. Act as main point of contact for all bureau services related queries for allocated portfolio of clients.
2. Maintain high level of accuracy for all accounts, when completing financial deliverables for any of our clients (i.e. reconciliations, journal recharging, payment files, payment processing, one billing, etc).
3. Workflow management to adhere to SLA’s (service level agreements).
4. Submitting multiple reports within set client KPI’s.
5. Support other Bureau Services team members and assist with any additional requirements as and when required from the Head of Bureau Services.
6. Processing utility invoices using SystemLink to complete validation with high accuracy.
7. Managing queries and analysing multiple reports to drive down our client’s carbon emissions.
8. Manage payment files and payments remittances through to suppliers.
9. Respond to queries about utility invoices and client supplies as well as supporting metering projects.
10. Collate and analyse HH and or AMR data, then summarise your results within a high-level report to present to our stakeholders and or clients/suppliers.
11. To assist and or compile clients’ specific reports (e.g. cost and consumption, missing invoice, accruals, budgets, floor area, service capacity, heat mapping, actual data vs invoiced data, etc).
12. Liaise with debt management companies to ensure clients supply(s) are not disconnected.
13. Attend client meetings being the subject expert for their portfolio.
