Hays Specialist Recruitment is actively recruiting for Adult Support Workers in Kent (Tunbridge Wells) to work with adults with learning disabilities/difficulties.
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Shifts: All shift patterns available (inc. Nights, Long days and half days)

Your New Role
1. Providing essential support to adults with learning disabilities such as Autism and ADHD within residential homes.
2. Creating a safe and nurturing environment to foster their independence and personal growth.
3. Engaging in diverse day-to-day activities tailored to their unique needs and interests.
4. Assisting with household tasks like cooking and cleaning.
5. Supporting in medication management.
6. Building trust and responsibility to accompany them to appointments and activities.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, and at least one year within the UK.
2. Ideal Qualifications: Qualifications such as an NVQ L3/2 in Health and Social Care or relevant qualifications in supporting adults with learning disabilities are ideal.
3. A manual driving license, valid in the UK.
4. Flexibility: We're seeking workers who are as flexible as possible.
5. Resilience: This role can be challenging, so a strong will, perseverance, and patience are essential.
6. Effective Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
