A fantastic permanent opportunity for a more Junior level Operations Account Manager to join a successful, fast-growing energy, data and Technology company located in the Bristol area. This is a full-time permanent position working in a smaller team, but part of a larger Operations division. The role is mainly to optimise and build upon relationships between the company and energy suppliers which is an important part, to the growth and operational ability to the company. You would be the primary contact for all of the suppliers. This requires a blend of experience to include data manipulation, reviewing and analysing reports, entering and updating customer information on systems and supporting customers with ad-hoc queries. A large part of the role is communication, MS Teams meetings, phone calls, emails and on occasions face to face meetings at the customer sites. This will involve some travel with an occasional overnight stay. The main aim is to address performance and to nurture and build on customer relationships. Please note, this is not a sales role. The role offers a hybrid way of working of 2/3 days in the office and working from home per week. Ideally a car driver is required, due to travel to customer sites. Skills/experience and attributes: Minimum of two years’ experience as a Customer Account Manager/Customer Relationship Associate or similar Strong communication skills, verbal, face to face and written Industry experience is highly desirable – Energy (Gas/Electricity) or Utilities Experience of working on settlement performance is highly desirable Experience of working within a regulated environment is useful A mathematical and statistical mind Interest in numbers and data High attention to detail Intermediate in Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint Professional and personable nature Enjoys working collaboratively, sharing ideas across the team Strong presentation skills and the ability to put together slides to present to customers Organised, forward thinking with good experience of diary management Flexible and reactive to change
