Ringway Infrastructure Services is seeking a Routine and Reactive Works Manager to oversee and drive the delivery of safety defect repairs, emergency response, and inspections for our Gloucestershire County Council contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the performance of safety defect repairs and emergency response to meet contractual KPIs
* Ensure Highways Inspections are delivered harmoniously with the Scheduling and Routine Operations Team’s in line with available resources to enhance service delivery.
* Ensure adequately trained resources are employed to deliver a resilient incident response.
* Monitor and report on overall performance against defect data and productivity per resource employed.
* Monitor and report on deliver of minor works and cyclical programmes through depot teams, ensuring all works within a calendar year are delivered
* Leading by example, be accountable for all Health, Safety & Environmental matters relating to your teams and deputise to the Operations Manager in the promotion of a positively managed H&S culture.
* Responsibility for the P&L for routine and reactive works.
* Leadership of 5 contracts managers, 15 supervisors, 80 operatives plus inspectors and subcontractors
About You:
* Experience of routine and reactive highways maintenance works
* Proven ability to meet KPIs, optimize resources, and drive performance
* Experience in health & safety, compliance, and risk management
* Commercial awareness, including budget and P&L responsibility
* A proactive mindset focused on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction
