Position: MFL Secondary Teacher (French and Spanish) Location: Rochdale Start Date: Immediate Competitive pay: £(Apply online only) per day Age Group: KS3/KS4 Contract: Full-Time About the Role: As a MFL Teacher, you will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as in whole-class settings. You will use your own passion to inspire the younger generation to learn new languages. You will focus on helping students who need extra support with their work, ensuring they grasp essential concepts to improve their academic progress, exam results, and coursework. You will contribute to extra-curricular activities and language development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging. Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure high attainment. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum. What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role: Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS or UK unqualified teaching experience within MFL/ PGCE/ Native language proficiency. Fluent in the languages French and Spanish. Passion for languages, teaching and helping young people succeed. Experience working in a classroom or tutoring environment is desirable. Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis. A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
