Private Client, Wills & Probate Solicitor Job Type: Part-Time (3 - 4 days a week) Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata) Reed Legal have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to run and develop our client's Private Client, Wills & Probate department. This role requires a candidate with significant experience, capable of working largely unsupervised. Our client is an established and vibrant firm known for delivering the highest standards of service to the local community and beyond. Day-to-day of the role: Manage all client work allocated in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards contained in the firm’s Office Manual. Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that clients are kept regularly informed on progress and costs. Maintain high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information. Achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording. Oversee credit control on own matters in close liaison with the bookkeeper. Comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors. Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm. Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations. Supervise, support, and develop immediate support staff. Take responsibility for self-development and comply with relevant training requirements. Actively promote the services of the firm and its image and ethos. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3-4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client, Wills & Probate law. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent client service and communication skills. Strong organisational and time management skills.
