We now have an exciting opening for a Resource Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. If you are tenacious, a good problem solver and able to think outside the box, looking for a hands-on position then this could be for you.
What you will be doing:
You will assist the Operations team in resourcing labour in line with job/project requirements and ensure the training requirements and ongoing assessment of all operatives is being met. You will also assist in the management of the Sentinel process in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Sentinel Scheme.
Key Tasks and General Duties:
* Setting up and maintaining rosters ensuring they are developed in accordance with the relevant HSQE policies and procedures.
* Placement of lookaheads, allocation of requirements and orders to Labour suppliers.
* Ensure staff are allocated to the right place at the right time, appropriate to the task.
* Attend resource meetings.
* Review timesheets, checking time worked, allowances and claims.
* Liaise with the Commercial, Planning and Project teams to understand current and future prelims resource requirements (actual vs plan).
* Manage the allocation of hours and shifts ensuring correct utilisation of available resource and updating records and systems accordingly.
* Oversee future resource requirements and either:
* Input and manage relevant rostering systems/software and create relevant reports.
* Contact workers on a day-to-day basis in relation to work requirements.
* Responsible for the overall management of workers, which includes but is not limited to, checking and ordering PPE, roster and timesheet management, checking workers competencies are up to date and liaising with Protech Training Academy to arrange necessary training ensuring ongoing assessment of all operatives is being met.
* Conduct Safety Briefings as and when required.
* Ensure compliance to all company/industry/legal processes are adhered to through training, coaching and mentoring staff.
* Ensure workers submit timesheets weekly for payment.
* Monitor workers working times in compliance with Protech’s Policy.
* Assist with the management of Protech’s fleet and fuel cards to ensure workers have adequate transport to site where required.
* Strategic resourcing, working to ensure Protech receives the most competent workers for tasks.
* Booking overnight accommodation for workers when necessary.
* Ad-hoc associated administration duties to support the business.
Skills:
* Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS Suite.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with a wide variety of people, with a confident telephone manner.
* Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Administration experience and accurate record keeping.
* Analytical and evaluation skills.
* Proactive and motivated approach.
