This role is at the heart of shaping and managing relationships with financial institutions, corporate clients, and strategic vendors, ensuring the effective execution of a robust Treasury strategy.
What You'll Do
* Strategic Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key financial institution counterparts and vendors, aligning with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
* Optimise Treasury Operations: Partner with internal teams to enhance funding strategies, reduce costs, and improve liquidity & funding duration.
* Leadership in Governance: Drive ALCO meeting agendas, ensure precise documentation, and contribute to effective decision-making within the Bank.
* Wholesale Funding Expertise: Lead wholesale funding meetings, maintain sales plans, and align funding strategies with commercial and risk objectives.
* Market Operations: Provide hands-on support for Treasury functions, including FX, Sukuk, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Significant expertise in wholesale funding, financial institutions, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets in a Treasury environment.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets (UK focus), wholesale funding regulations, and Treasury operations.
