We are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator [CCTV] to work with our partners such as the Police, NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe and helping Police by monitoring of real time CCTV and directing Officers by radio to incidents and securing evidence. What you will be doing: Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, making sure the best evidential quality images are recorded. Writing reports or witness statements and attend court, to give evidence supporting the CCTV images. What we are looking for: You should be confident in liaising with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency and other investigatory bodies. We work on a shift basis, including evening and weekends, so flexibility for the role is key. Full manual UK driving licence is essential along with great customer service skills and the ability to write reports.
