Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom Assisting the class teacher in planning and implementing individual education plans Providing one-to-one support and guidance to students as needed Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN is required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students with SEN Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid training Working Conditions: Working in a school environment Full-time hours with potential for occasional overtime Interacting with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
