Our Client in Gilford is currently recruiting a Band 5 Data Analyst to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
The Data Analyst will play a key role in the provision of day to day support to the service Directorates – taking responsibility for the provision of statutory and mandatory monitoring information, providing updated information on established performance monitoring/dashboard indicators,

Job role :
Performance Monitoring
1. Support the Information Manager and Senior Data Analyst in the provision of high quality information and analysis to assist the monitoring and measurement of key HSC targets and objectives.
Mandatory and Statutory Information
2. Provide (acute/community) mandatory and statutory weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual information returns to the DHSSPS and Commissioners.
Information Analysis
3. Provide ad-hoc information reports as required – requiring prioritisation of workload areas, negotiation on the delivery of information and the timescales, analysing it and presenting it in a meaningful relevant way.
Essential Criteria
4. Have a Degree or recognised Professional Qualification, or equivalent qualification, in a Data Science, Computer Science or Maths/Statistics field AND have 1 years’ experience in a business intelligence/data analysis role
OR
5. HNC or equivalent / higher qualification in a Data Science, Computer Science or Maths/Statistics field AND 2 years’ experience in a business intelligence/data analysis role.
OR
6. Have 4 years’ experience in a Data Science, Computer Science or Maths/Statistics field, including 1 years’ experience in a business intelligence/data analysis role.
AND
7. Experience of using MS Office including Advanced Excel spreadsheets.
8. Experience of collating, analysing and presentation of complex 1 Information.
9. Experience in the use of Analytics / Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Statistical Process Control (SPC) Charts, Qlik, MS Power BI, etc.
10. Experience of data visualisation and dashboard reporting.
11. Knowledge & experience of extract, transform & load (ETL) frameworks and data management systems.
12. Proficiency in the use of SQL
