Job Description Job purpose:
To support the facilities team in looking after our premises, coordinating maintenance activities and maintaining compliance with the required Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. Some driving between sites in a company vehicle is a necessary part of the role (Over to Swavesey, 5 miles).
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate internal yearly / monthly / weekly checks. Included but not limited to:
Weekly fire alarm checks
CCTV checks
Pest control monitoring
Generator checks and test runs
PAT testing
Racking inspections
Hot and cold water tap checks
Emergency lighting test
Emergency exit checks
Basic facilities maintenance and repair
Manage facilities related purchases and deliveries such as:
Monitor, replenish and re-order refreshments in a timely manner across the three company buildings
Purchase new office equipment
Order miscellaneous office consumables and computer peripherals
Assist in warehouse / reception if required
Schedule and book external contractors for all facilities related issues including:
Fire and intruder alarm servings
Door access control
Emergency lighting servicing
Air conditioning and HVAC servicing and preventative maintenance
