The Receptionist will be primarily responsible for facilitating smooth check in processes for patients attending the department. They will assist with patient queries and direct patients to the correct area for their appointments. Please see the attached Job Description for full details. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include: Welcome patients, visitors, and hospital staff to the department with a friendly, polite, and empathetic manner, ensuring a helpful and professional approach. Support the implementation of Government, Trust, and Departmental quality and business initiatives. Actively encourage and respond to feedback as part of the departments quality improvement initiative. Liaise with GP practices, hospital staff, and associated agencies, both internally and externally, in a polite and professional manner, taking appropriate action or escalating issues as necessary.
