Working within the maintenance team, you will be carrying out planned maintenance.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment on-site. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and ensure that the production processes are safe and effective.
Your varied role will include:
1. Ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
2. Fault finding problems by observing machinery in operation
3. Reacting to production breakdowns quickly
4. Assisting other departments when required to ensure production requirements are met
5. Using mechanical and electrical knowledge
6. Fabricating repair parts
7. Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment maintenance
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
6. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
7. Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
8. Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving
9. Able to work in selected teams and coordinate solutions
10. Good analytic, planning, and organisational skills
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (oral & written)
