We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our finance team at our Head office based in Steeton, West Yorkshire
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, profit & loss reports, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and tax return processes while working closely with senior management to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting.
Hourly Rate: from £45,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (Hybrid - min 3 days in the office a week)

The role consists of:
Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and present monthly management accounts for overseas entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Profit & Loss Reporting: Deliver accurate profit & loss accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Review and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Tax Returns: Prepare and submit local tax returns.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.
Data Reconciliation: Reconcile data from multiple company systems for consistency.
Advanced Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel and SAP to analyse financial data.
Collaboration & Support: Support the Group Financial Reporting Controller and senior managers with financial insights.
Ad-Hoc Duties: Undertake additional tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
Experience in management accounting, ideally with manufacturing experience, or a desire to transition into this role from practice.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SAP (preferred).
Ability to analyse and present complex financial data clearly.
