- £110,000 Bonus & Benefits AI Connect are partnering with a retail bank to help them appoint a Quantitative Analyst to join their finance function.
You’ll join their scenario modelling team within their Centre of Excellence to implement machine learning techniques to drive market leading solutions.
What you’ll do: Understand how macroeconomic factors can impact inflation/borrowing, and build suitable machine learning solutions to predict outcomes.
Ability to read scientific papers and communicate info to non technical audience Bringing together financial, statistical, mathematical, machine-learning and software engineering skills to consider multiple solutions, techniques, and algorithms.
Building, training, and testing complex machine models, considering model valuation, model risk, governance, and ethics throughout to implement and scale models.
Productionising ethically sound models end-to-end and applying a software engineering and product development lens to complex business problems Key Skills & Experience: Experience working as a Quant Analyst within finance would be highly beneficial.
Experience deploying statistical machine learning models into a production environment.
Extensive work experience, including expertise with statistical data analysis, such as linear models, multivariate analysis, forcasting, bayesian, classification or time series analysis.
Particular experience with scenario modelling, stress testing, balance sheet forecasting, credit risk, portfolio optimisation or structured finance would be beneficial.
