Entry Level Role: Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales Support Executive
Who are we? We are a rapidly growing start-up media company founded by three directors who have worked in the Commercial Conference industry for many years. We have developed the Lab of the Future Congress series into a world renowned platform for information exchange, networking and the spread of best practice. Through case study interviews, webinars and conferences under the Lab of the Future brand we provide the industry with a focal point to share information, find solutions and drive innovation in life science research.
Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing new prospects for both the European and US congresses
2. Lead qualifying - dealing with inbound leads and setting up calls
3. Selling exhibition packages
4. Attending both the Boston and Amsterdam events to support clients and set up meetings with sell-side delegate prospects
5. Support with onsite rebooks and follow up – sending proposals before the event, signing clients on the day and following up post congress
6. Competitor analysis – mapping out clients from and potentially travelling to attend other events
7. Working closely with the Conference Producer to explore new client categories per track or topic
8. Finalising sales contracts and communicating new sponsors to the team
9. Raising sponsor and exhibitor invoices and sending payment reminders
10. Sourcing sponsor and exhibitor logos and company profiles from clients
11. Adding new sponsors and exhibitors to the event website
12. Post-congress sponsor and exhibitor thank you messages, including photos of their teams
13. Arranging sponsor speaker calls – diarising calls with the speaker and the LotF Conference Producer eight weeks out from the event
14. Collaborating with the Marketing Manager on sponsorship and exhibition messaging, both mailings and LinkedIn
15. Regular engagement with prospects and confirmed sponsors on LinkedIn
Minimum Requirements:
1. Up to six months in a sales environment
2. A self-starter, eager to work as part of a dynamic and growing team
3. Excellent research, communication and interpersonal skills - written and verbal
4. An interest in the biopharma industry
5. A high level of commercial awareness
6. An ability to work to targets and deadlines
We offer:
1. Flexible working with a mix of home and office based work with our Cambridgeshire and London based team. Three days in the office a week based in the Officers Mess, Duxford, Cambridgeshire

3. Excellent salary and benefits: £26,000 with an OTE of £30,000
