Job Ad: Behaviour Mentor Location: Llanishen, Cardiff Salary: £83.85 per day Contract Type: Monday - Friday About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive specialist primary provision based in Llanishen, Cardiff. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their emotional and social development, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their academic pursuits. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural and emotional difficulties. Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour in the classroom. Build strong relationships with students to foster trust and confidence. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create inclusive learning environments. Monitor and track progress of students, reporting on their development and behaviour improvements. Assist in creating and facilitating interventions aimed at improving student well-being and academic success. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic attitude with a genuine desire to help students succeed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential. Benefits: Competitive daily rate of £83.85.
