Job summary
We would like to appoint a committedClinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in the Early Intervention inPsychosis Service (EIP) across Worcestershire. We are looking for a passionateand enthusiastic psychologist with a special interest in working with peoplewho are presenting with their first episode of Psychosis. Dependent onexperience you will be appointed at band 7 or band 8a. If appointed at band 7,upon successful completion of the development plan you will move to a band 8a.Copies of both job descriptions are included in the supporting documents.
Thepost holder will deliver Clinical or Counselling Psychology core values andclinical practice, will work with a diverse service user group with a range ofcomplex mental health needs. We aspire to encourage a sense of empowerment inour service users through working with the EI principles and trauma informedservice delivery.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an integral memberof the EIP Team, working with a varied MDT including two CBT therapists. Thepost holder will be a valued member of the psychology provision within the widerTrust. As a development role, supported personal and professional developmentwill be a priority. There will be training opportunities as well as increasedsupport whilst undertaking the development plan.
The post holderwill lead on psychology referrals, provide specialist EIP individualinterventions, and other psychological interventions to suit individual need.The post will also involve developing and offering group therapies, individualand group supervision/reflective practice, contribute to the psychologicalformulation of risk assessment, and provide consultation within the team. Thepost holder will participate in local and national audits, and incorporate theuse of data and research to support service performance.

41. Evidence of regular continuing professional development through further professional training and experience, as required by the

43. Eligible for registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) by the BPS
