We are currently seeking a dedicated Physics Lecturer for a temporary ongoing position at our client's Further Education college in West London. The role involves teaching Physics at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels. The timetable is in the process of being confirmed, offering flexible working hours across four days.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Physics to students at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels.
* Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards.
* Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
* Provide academic support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of Physics.
* Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and overall academic progress.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A degree in Physics or a closely related field.
* Proven teaching experience in Physics at GCSE, A Level, or BTEC levels.
* Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
