What will you be doing?
1. Assisting with planning and monitoring of approximately 1000 vehicles movements per week
2. Check and log details of site licences, haulier licences, insurances
3. Control of Administration of WIMS/ELEMOS (weighbridge system) for Veolia Waste Depots
4. Assist with coordinating the Wood & Fuel Team operation to ensure all areas of compliance, operations and customer service are adhered to
5. Engage with other internal departments to ensure operational delivery e.g. Admin, Customer service, Collections, Comm's/Marketing
6. Assisting in coordination and direction of weekly/monthly/yearly quotas
7. Support with projects to review future business needs and how best to react to legislative changes
What are we looking for?
1. Previous experience within a similar role such as transport planning / scheduling is required to be successful in this position
2. Exceptional numerical ability and attention to detail
3. Ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own workload as this role is going to be remote working
4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
5. Good problem-solving ability
