The role We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our Business Development team. The successful candidate will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and support a range of initiatives, all to create opportunities and generate new leads with current and prospective clients, and to help build Graphite’s profile with clients, talent, and within the digital and healthcare and pharma sectors. This is a varied role which offers the chance to get involved and gain experience across a wide range of marketing-focused activities including digital marketing, social media, events, PR, content creation, market research and new business. Responsibilities will include: Content creation and publication – writing, proof-reading and editing content; publishing to the Graphite website and/or third-party digital channels; reporting on analytics and engagement; sourcing appropriate imagery and visual assets; creating briefs for internal and external designers; creating and maintaining a content plan. Email marketing - assisting in the creation of email marketing campaigns for lead generation and awareness; tracking engagement and reporting back to the team; building and sending campaigns in Hubspot; building and segmenting data lists; maintaining database quality Digital marketing - working with external partners to monitor and enhance our digital marketing efforts through paid search, SEO and paid social. Social media - creation and publication of social media content; monitoring social engagement; populating and maintaining a social content calendar that aligns with annual marketing strategy. Research - conducting desk research on Graphite’s competitors, digital industry trends and sector developments to inform planning and content; sharing findings internally to enhance knowledge and understanding; contributing to annual proprietary research projects. Business development - supporting with newbiz proposals; proofreading and formatting proposal decks; monitoring opportunities to partake in tenders; conducting ad-hoc desk research on prospects. Organisation and planning - building and maintaining calendars on behalf of the business development team for effective forward planning and quarterly resourcing (e.g. awards, events); managing external relationships with partners - e.g. digital marketing, design support. Strategy - inputting into annual business development strategy and using this to guide activities and decision-making; devising strategic plans for specific initiatives. Industry knowledge - developing knowledge and understanding of the pharma, healthcare and digital sectors over time through a proactive approach. Admin - supporting with general admin, such as attending and note-taking at meetings; keeping the CRM up to date; keeping shared drives organised; other ad-hoc support as required.
