YOUR CHALLENGE: You will support the Head of Operations on both day to day operational tasks as well as longer term strategic planning. Oversee the acquisition, integration and successful implementation of a minimum of 30 fleet vehicles in London. Create a clear structure setting up and running processes for the management of our fleet vehicles, including servicing, licensing, insurance etc. Negotiate implement and manage rental contracts between a spectrum of stakeholders on the behalf of Blacklane Ensure the utilisation of the vehicles is managed, so that mileage and vehicle condition stipulations are in keeping with our lease agreements. Identify, set up and manage a fleet facility for storage of the vehicles. Work with the Operations team to ensure any vehicle downtime keeps supply service level disruption to a minimum You will ensure and support the operations team in ensuring compliance and documentation is up to date for all vehicles and Blacklane's supply in general. ABOUT YOU: You are currently based in or within commuting range of Heathrow. You will hold a valid UK driving license You have 5 years relevant work experience in a business environment. You have a track record of working in Fleet Management. You have experience negotiating and managing contracts or any other commercial agreements. You have previously had financial responsibilities for a business segment. You are convincing, personable, helpful and welcome feedback. You demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, team spirit, independence, and openness. You have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize your workload. Experience in the private hire sector would be an advantage but not essential You are a team player, with the ability to motivate others to keep improving each day.
