Client Local Authority in Croydon Job Title Information Monitoring and Data Support Officer Pay Rate £19.75 an hour PAYE Hours 36 Hours a week(Mon-Fri)9AM-5PM Duration 12 Month Fixed Contract Location HYBRID WORKING-2-3 days office based in Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon Description Role Purpose: >To be responsible for the collection, collation, quality, maintenance, accuracy and prompt data entry for all children's independent and residential payments. (inclusive of specialist assessments where required). >To ensure accurate financial data validation and entry to enable the smooth, timely and accurate payments to all service providers and accuracy in readiness for the full implementation of CONTROC. >To ensure that the data quality of all information held is sufficient to produce appropriate performance and progress reports underpinned by accurate management information to inform the business. Key Accountabilities: Ensure commitments are promptly loaded with accuracy, resolving any errors or omissions on commitment form with originator. Ensure that any other changes to the child or family and other details are recorded, including end of service. Ensure the correct financial code is used. Ensure relevant children's case records is kept up to date, including changes to placement, end of placement, costs of placements and any other relevant information as guided by the team manager. Processing all commitments for services onto the system in a timely manner and following up any omissions or discrepancies in the information. Follow up with managers and payments colleagues where additional information is required Reconciling completed actuals into the system to ensure appropriate payments to suppliers Refer any discrepancies back to suppliers for explanation or amendmentEssential knowledge: Clear understanding of the children's social care processes from needs assessment through support planning to service delivery. Knowledge of client database systems and associated financial modules i.e. CRS, Oracle and CONTROC Funding arrangements operating in children's social care.
