If so, GCN and GMBN would love for you to join our team As our in-house bike mechanic, you will be working on some of the industry's leading bikes and cutting edge equipment. We are extremely privileged at GCN and GMBN to work with some fantastic partners in the cycling and mountain bike industry, so you can be sure that this role will get first look at some of the world's leading bikes and new developments If you are passionate about bikes and bike tech, our bike mechanic role is ideal for you. Part of this role will involve liaising with our Production team and Presenters, to ensure that the workshop is aligned with our channels' needs, getting bikes built and ready for shoots and races. Because of this, we're looking for someone personable with good interpersonal skills - the Presenters and our sponsors are your clients This role is based full-time (Monday - Friday) in our Bath offices. You'll need the right to work in the UK. There is also the occasional requirement for travel. The Day to Day: Take deliveries and organise shipping of bikes / equipment for our sponsors and partners. Build and maintain bikes in line with industry standards and our partner's requirements. Liaise with Production Coordinators and Presenters to make sure that bikes are ready on time for shoots and races. Keep track of bikes that are coming to and from the workshop using our tracking system. Complete pre-shoot inspections for bikes, ensuring they are within partner brand guidelines. Help create bike illustrations with the graphic and motion graphics design teams for video content. What We're Looking For: Passion for our brands and channels, and an understanding of the commercial requirements for the bikes within our video content. Experience of working on high-end bikes (road and/or MTB). The bikes you will be building here are top of the range, so we're looking for someone who has experience with high-tech equipment. Knowledge about bike fitting and bike tech. Good customer service skills. Ideally, you'll be a qualified bike mechanic, although this isn't essential. Think this sounds like the dream role for you?
