Group website: Role: Due to the continued expansion of the Group and growth within our Lisburn facility, we are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The role will be based out of our Lisburn site, Co. Antrim.The Warehouse Supervisor will have responsibility to support warehouse managers with the daily running of a busy warehouse which operates from 7am to 7pm, Monday - Friday. Key Responsibilities: This position requires active involvement in all warehouse operations. Including but not limited to: manual handling; order picking unloading deliveries; loading trucks and; printing customers' invoices. Assisting the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations and supervising staff in Managers' absence. Managing and assigning the daily work plan. Monitor accuracy and organisation during intake and outload. Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure branch / customer orders are fulfilled correctly. Assist in employee training, development, and engagement. Work with / support site management team. Ensuring the prioritisation of Company Health & Safety protocols. Key Requirements/Person specification: 2 years experience in a warehouse supervisory position. A qualification in logistics and supply chain management would be an advantage but not essential. Experience working in busy warehouse/logistics depot. Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good numeracy and administrative skills with the ability analyse figures. Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Team player. Problem-solving skills and an ability to work on a tactical and strategic level; The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to work on your own initiative, decisive and enthusiastic. Fork lift license.
