KYC Analyst
This role is part of the Client Management Unit, which is responsible for Client Onboarding, KYC and Data referential. We are looking for a Junior KYC analyst with preferably experience within KYC. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and verify new clients/counterparties and their related parties, perform periodic KYC refreshes on existing clients/counterparties, complete event-driven updates, and screen clients/counterparties and their related parties for sanctions/adverse/politically exposed person (PEP) information screening.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
* Complete accurate KYC reviews in a timely manner for new and/or existing relationships.
* Complete event-driven trigger reviews of clients, third parties, and vendors.
* Apply the KYC business rules with internal policies and procedures to obtain and analyse the necessary documents for each entity type.
* Review publicly available sources of information to develop a thorough understanding of the client's activities and the nature of the proposed business relationship.
* Work with stakeholders to source additional documentation if sufficient information is not publicly available.
* Review and prepare all KYC documentation for approval by the KYC Quality Control ("QC") team.
What you'll need to be successful
We're looking for the following skills and experience. If you don't have all of these but think you could be a good fit for the role, get in touch.
* Good understanding of JMLSG and Anti Money Laundering (AML) policies and regulations.
* Experience in KYC (not mandatory).
* Attention to detail with ability to spot AML red flags.
* Previous experience in working with clients and stakeholders will be an advantage.
* Hardworking with a desire to learn and succeed.
* Dynamic and adaptable to change.
