We are looking for an autonomous lead midwife for Fetal Surveillance who can work collaboratively with the Fetal Surveillance Obstetric Lead and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification
Must
* Experience and evidence of fetal surveillance training and education
* Registered Midwife
* Practicing Midwife; with minimum 4 years' experience and evidence of expertise in all aspects of Intrapartum care
* Evidence of continuing personal and professional development
* Excellent understanding of the national maternity agenda including the Maternity Transformation and current 'Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle'
* Ability to manage own workload without supervision and delegate workload of the maternity unit to midwives and other staff according to their competence
* Computer skills to enable report writing, presentations, data entry and analysis.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written presentation skills
* Experience of teaching
* Evidence of leadership
