Are you a highly organised and proactive Building Manager with a passion for maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming environments? We are recruiting for an experienced individual to take responsibility for the effective management of building operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of services across internal and external spaces, car parks, and landscaped areas. Key Responsibilities: Building Management: Support the Estate Manager in meeting all building management obligations and achieving strategic objectives. Embrace and deliver the estate vision and values, integrating these into all aspects of service delivery. Manage building operational staff, including handypersons, technicians, cleaners, and waste operatives, ensuring high-quality work standards. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to and updated in line with legislation. Conduct visual inspections of common areas, courtyards, plant rooms, and access systems, addressing any issues promptly. Act as the Responsible Person and Fire Warden during building emergencies and report incidents or near misses to the Health & Safety Manager. Contractor and Maintenance Oversight: Serve as the main point of contact for onsite contractors, managing access, permits, and quality standards. Oversee pre-planned maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation. Helpdesk and Communication: Manage the Helpdesk system, coordinating works, and ensuring effective communication with landlords and team members. Update and upload relevant Health & Safety documentation and ensure smooth handover of completed tasks. What We’re Looking For: Strong experience in building or facilities management, with a proven track record of operational excellence. Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and emergency procedures. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and internal teams.
