A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY As a Level 2 CT Radiographer, your day will revolve around operating advanced CT equipment to perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various products manufactured on-site. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all radiographic activities are carried out safely, effectively, and in compliance with stringent quality standards and regulations. You’ll be involved in developing and refining radiographic techniques, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that image quality tests and calibrations are performed accurately and thoroughly documented. Your typical workday begins at 7:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You’ll collaborate closely with Radiation Protection Supervisors (RPS), providing technical support, and ensuring that all radiographic procedures adhere to local rules and industry regulations. How You’ll Make An Impact Radiographic Operations: Oversee all aspects of radiographic activities, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of NDT tasks. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all controlled areas and radiographic activities comply with Local Rules and IRR regulations, reporting any safety concerns. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and regularly validated. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately report radiographic results, maintain thorough records, and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company and client specifications. Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to peers, trainees, and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What You Bring Certifications: Certified PCN, EN4179 or SNT-TC Level 2 Digital Radiographer (preferred but equipment specific training will be provided both on site and in Europe) Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and a commitment to upholding the highest quality and safety standards. Team Leadership: Ability to lead by example, providing the team with the resources and motivation to excel.
