Job Role: Experienced Chef
Salary: £35k to £45k depending on experience
Times: Full time 45 to 48 hours pw
Our client has a small restaurant/bar near Buntingford, Hertfordshire which has recently been refurbished. The restaurant serves freshly-prepared food with a menu built from mainly small plates with a feast of flavours from across the world, prepared fresh to order with the concept of sharing.Due to their continued growth, we are now recruiting an experienced Chef to join their successful team.Your responsibilities will be to:Prepare and cook food in accordance to our recipes and quality standardsAssist with menu planning and developmentEnsure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets our high-quality standardsOversee food production and presentationManage inventory and order supplies as requiredMaintain a clean and organised kitchen environment whilst adhering to all H&S regulationsTrain and supervise kitchen staffYou will:Have proven experience as a Chef with knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trendsHave great experience and be confident and proactive with a passion for all things food and drinkKnowledge of kitchen sanitation, health and safety regulations with a commitment to the highest standards of service and operationsWork closely with the management team and have a responsibility for stock managementCulinary degree or equivalent experience preferredHave strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
