Part Time Finance and Administration Assistant Job in Ringwood – 9-month FTC
Our client is a thriving design and engineering firm who are recruiting for a Finance and Administration Assistant for a 9-month Fixed Term Contract, with an expected start date of April 2025. The business works with a range of commercial clients on their innovations in internal design, and they are seeing great results with year-on year growth and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Finance:
* Xero accounting software
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Purchase and sales ledger invoicing
* Reconciling supplier payments
* Monthly sales financial reporting
* Assisting with payroll preparation
* Preparing month end figures
* Preparing audit documentation
* General bookkeeping queries
Administration:
* Answering incoming calls and responding to client enquiries
* Producing applications to clients
* General office administration and filing
* Stationary and facilities ordering
* Process expense claims and holiday requests for engineers
* Monthly sales reporting for the MD
* Adhoc administrative duties
Minimum Skills Required for the Part Time Finance and Administration Assistant:
* Strong understanding of Xero accounting software
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications)
* Proactive and keen to get stuck in
* Attention to detail and organisational skills
* Flexible and adaptable team player
Salary and Benefits:
* An hourly rate of £14-15 per hour, dependent on experience
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays pro rata
* Working Monday – Friday 8.00 am – 1.00 pm or 9.00 am – 2.00 pm
