This friendly team are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to help students develop the skills necessary for success both academically and socially.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
* Develop and implement effective behaviour management plans.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Regularly monitor and report on the progress of students.
* Engage with parents and caregivers to support holistic student development.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with students, staff, and parents.
* High levels of patience, empathy, and a consistently positive attitude.
* Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Relevant educational or training background in education, psychology, or behaviour management is preferred.
