Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
* Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
* Process invoices, records payments, and track expenses of the organisation
* Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
* Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
* Support the Finance and Accounting team with project management and special projects
* Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other departments within the company
* Provide excellent customer service to company employees and vendors
* Assist with other accounting projects as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
* A qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
* Proficiency in Excel and other financial software programs
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to notice discrepancies in data
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
* A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative when problems arise
