HR Administrator, 6 month contract, Harrogate, £23,492 pro rata
Are you wanting to work for an award-winning charity? If so, we are recruiting for a Not for Profit charity in Harrogate for a full-time HR Administrator for a 6-month maternity contract. This is a fixed-term contract; however, it is likely that the position could be offered on a temp-permanent basis or the contract may be extended beyond the 6-month term due to growth of the charity.
The main aim is to provide administrative support within their HR and Admin department.
To be considered, you should have some office experience, be well organized, IT literate, and be able to start on the 25th March.
Duties:
1. Ability to interpret and present statistical information clearly using tables and charts.
2. Assists with recruitment advertising, including website updating and uploading of adverts to a variety of advertising platforms.
3. Support the interview process, including interview set up, confirmation of appointments, and scheduling of video conferencing calls.
4. Produces accurate recruitment correspondence and documentation.
5. Undertakes all necessary pre-employment checks, including DBS clearance, references, and medical questionnaire follow-ups, ensuring these are documented on the recruitment checklist and collated in an electronic personnel file.
Requirements:
1. IT literacy is essential, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
2. Good communication skills - written and verbal.
3. Eye for detail.
4. Able to work in a team environment.
5. Office administration experience; training will be provided.
