Job Overview The role of the content planning team is to provide the direction for how clients can win in social first content, setting the conditions for breakthrough ideas that produce standout communication. We are looking for a Senior Content Strategist with experience in devising innovative content plans that deliver against client objectives and show them a way to win they haven’t heard before. A successful candidate will need to sell innovative new approaches to content, set out clear rationale and implications for messaging, casting and context. Responsibilities: Devise the content planning approach on Responses to Briefs that shift the needle of what creator-led advertising can achieve for our clients Conduct social landscape and cultural analysis to identify how people are behaving and why Articulate the human truths with a creator lens upon which a creative concept can be built in a new way the client hasn’t heard before Write inspiring creative briefs setting out clear direction and ways to win in the creator space that leverage these truths Set clear direction for casting - what type and size of creator is required to do the job and why Deliver both Influencer and Creator in Advertising content plans including the type and amount of content required by task and by phase Write a clear and compelling messaging hierarchy Work closely with the creative team on concept development Hypothesise what type of content will deliver against the client objective and ensure testing of this is baked into the measurement approach Sell in the content planning approach through persuasive, inspiring and succinct storytelling Present confidently to clients Conduct content audits, social listening, brand positioning and wider social media management recommendations Skills and Attributes: Proven ability to devise and execute content plans that meet client objectives and introduce new, practical approaches that show what’s possible in the creator space Significant expertise in writing inspiring, clear creative briefs that set direction and leverage human insights within the creator space.
