Facilities Assistant/Technician

Your new role
1. Responsible for all building maintenance
2. Assist with managing relevant contracts and supervising on-site contractors
3. Initiating repair procedures, calling appropriate suppliers when breakdowns/emergencies occur
4. Dealing confidently with contractors and consultants on more complex issues
5. Undertaking regular buildings checks and daily maintenance routines. Taking responsibility for decisions in respect to the building management system (BMS) (for example adjusting temperature settings).
6. Efficiently and effectively responding to breakdowns, emergencies and requests for maintenance, and ensuring preventative action minimises maintenance issues
7. Logging faults, incidents and breakdowns
8. Prioritising maintenance work and ensuring sufficient back up stock is available at all times (for example bulbs and fuses)
9. Managing logged calls the the maintenance mailbox efficiently and effectively
10. Identify and resolve technical problems if qualified to do so
