Commercial Manager – Fresh & Chilled Food | Yorkshire
We’re partnering with a leading UK producer of fresh & exciting chilled products to find an ambitious Commercial Manager to join their dynamic commercial team.

Sector: Chilled Own Label | Retail
Level: 3-5 years' experience in Food/FMCG
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will take full P&L ownership of multiple retail accounts, playing a key role in driving growth with major retail partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking and highly organised individual to step into a role with real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead the day-to-day & strategic management of Tesco
✅ Negotiate & implement cost price increases, cost mitigation, JBP & promotional plans
✅ Secure new listings & distribution points to drive growth, including value-added NPD
✅ Develop collaborative retailer relationships & drive joint business plans
✅ Analyse market, category & account data to create winning strategies
✅ Work cross-functionally to ensure top-tier availability & service levels
What We’re Looking For:
Highly motivated, proactive & commercially astute
A natural self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills & the ability to build collaborative, cross-functional networks
Degree educated (or equivalent) with 3-5 years’ experience in Food/FMCG
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
