Kindness, openness, and support – three things that this practice has in abundance, and they are recruiting.
If you are stuck in a rut, thinking about your future, and looking for a new supportive home where you can develop, look no further than here. Regular CPD is offered and encouraged, whilst certificates are fully supported.
Based in Bradford, this progressive independent practice with an experienced team of veterinary professionals offers clinical freedom, autonomy, and a place to develop and grow.
It is no secret that being a vet is hard work. The more cases you work on, the more adept you get. Developing through experience can be long and demanding, often offering little work-life balance.
At this practice, they do not believe in working their vets ‘into the ground.’ Scheduled breaks throughout the day with flexible consult times allow you to build relationships and give the best possible care to each patient.
As a confident, experienced lead vet in an expanding practice with a strong, loyal, and growing client base, you will be involved right from the start. There is plenty of variety here, rewarding work with clinic freedom, and many interesting cases on offer which you will see through from the start.
Reassuringly, they have an experienced team of nurses you can rely on at all times. They also have close links to a local cat rescue charity, presenting you with some challenging, rewarding, and interesting cases.
If you are ambitious and want to be part of their success, potential partnership opportunities are on offer here for the right person.
The beauty of an independent practice is that you aren’t micro-managed. There are no silly targets for vets, and being sole charge most of the time means no one telling you what to do from afar; the job is tough enough without adding additional stress!
The rota is fair and sensible: 40 hours over 4 days, with 1:3 Saturday mornings 9-12 and no out-of-hours work.
Based in Bradford, the City of Culture 2025, you have all the amenities you can ask for within walking distance of the practice: shopping, bars, restaurants, and some of the best curry houses in the UK. Conveniently located for the North York Moors and with the cities of Leeds, York, and Harrogate all less than an hour away, what’s not to like?
So, what’s next? Send your CV; don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad, so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
