Main duties of the job Deliver expert level clinical Diabetes Dietetics, managing a complex caseload of patients with Diabetes working across settings(Secondary care, community and primary care) as required.o Manage a highly complex diabetes caseload, informing multi-disciplinary care and provide expert support and clinical supervision fordietitians / support workers / students Health Board wide.o Clinically lead the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to adult diabetes dietetics HealthBoard wide.o Work as an integral member of the adult diabetes multi-professional leadership team, driving excellent nutritional care through evidence based practice.o Ensure seamless service planning and delivery from prevention through to complex diabetes case management.o Clinically lead the development and delivery of education and training in relation to diabetes working across Multi profession platformsand multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) to support optimal effective diabetes care.o Compassionately and effectively line manage members of the diabetes dietetic team.
